Day 1 – Arrival Bhubaneswar

Being the seat of Tribhubaneswar or ‘Lord Lingaraj’, Bhubaneswar is an important Hindu pilgrimage centre. Hundreds of temples dot the landscape of the Old Town, which once boasted of more than 2000 temples. The Khandagiri and Udaygiri hills were carved and tunneled to create a multi-storied ancient apartment residence for Jain monks by the first Orissan ruler King Kharavela around first century BC.
Day 2 – Bhubaneswar – Hirapur – Dhauli – Bhubaneswar

Hirapur – 64 Yogini shrine dating back to the 9th century AD gives a glimpse of the religious and occult practices of medieval times. Shanti Stupa at Dhauli Hills is a significant symbol of love and peace. It is at Dhauli that Ashoka resorted to Buddhism.
Day 3 – Bhubaneswar – Pipli – Konark – Puri

Pipli is a centre for appliqué work, which depicts the essence of Oriya culture.The 13th century Sun Temple at Konark conceived as a massive chariot hauling the Sun God across the heavens is a UNESCO World Heritage site.The 12th century Jagannath Temple at Puri is dedicated to Lord Jagannath –“The Lord of the Universe” where yogis and devotees throng to seek forgiveness, to seek blessing. The chariots of the divine siblings, Jagannath, Subhadra and Balabhadra, roll down in the famous annual Rath Yatra.
Day 4 – Puri

Day 5 – Puri – Raghurajpur – Chilka Lake

Chilika Lake spread across 1200 sqkm is Asia’s largest brackish water lake studded with small islands and has a unique ecosystem with a large number of aquatic flora and fauna .Raghurajpur is a Heritage Craft village where the entire community is involved in making Pattachitra Palm Leaf engravings and is an example of stellar craftsmanship.
Day 6 – Chilika Lake
